This year I took on the role of Section secretary for the Woodwind section of the Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival. It was a joy to be on the other side as I have competed in the festival every year since I was 6 years old and I was sad to not be playing this year! We had a lovely weekend filled with new comers and returning participants all showing their progress and the talent in Basingstoke. A massive thank you to Liz Childs who was our adjudicator for this year. I am looking forward to many more years to come!
